Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What do you mean by RV class?
Answer: RV class determines the type, size, and whether
the unit is towed, driven or stationary in a park. Please visit
our Free
Resources page to find out more.
Question: What size should we buy?
Answer: This can only be determined by consulting a RV
specialist. A list of your needs is determined by some of the
following criteria: How many people do you need to sleep? Do you
want to tow the unit or put it into a park? What is the towing
capacity of your vehicle?
Question: What is a slide out?
Answer: A slide out is a room extension. They are
usually electric and extend from 2 feet to 4 feet, adding square
footage to the unit. Most slide outs contain the couch and
dinette. When the room is extended it adds plenty of extra space
to the unit.
Question: How much can I tow?
Answer: This is determined by the owner’s
manual you received with your vehicle. You need to know the
engine size, rear end gear ratio, and transmission to correctly
understand the manual. We suggest you call the dealer to
determine what weight you can tow.
Question: Do I need insurance?
Answer: Yes, the unit is insured by the tow vehicle
only while it is connected. Separate insurance is sold by
specialty companies.

Question: Why do some people refer to their unit as a
bunk house model?
Answer: These are units designed with a young family in
mind or grandparents looking for extra beds for grandchildren.
These units generally have two bedrooms: one with a queen bed
and another with up to four bunks.
Question: If I need something fixed on the unit where do
I take it?
Answer: A new unit goes back to the dealer you
purchased it from. If it is a used unit most RV dealers are
equipped for repairs.
Question: Do I get a warranty with my RV?
Answer: Yes, this is a manufacturer’s factory warranty
and the salesperson needs to explain this at time of purchase.
Question: How much does an RV cost?
Answer: A pop-up or fold-down camper starts at about
$5995, and the average towable trailer would be $18000.
Question: Can I get financing for the purchase?
Answer: Yes, this is a specialty market and the terms
need to be explained by a qualified representative. Please visit
our Dealer finance page for more information.
Question: Do you stock all types?
Answer: We specialize in park model units from 30 to 45
feet. We also have access to beautiful sites on which to put
them around central Ontario. We have lots of dealer contacts and
we can get brands that we do not regularly carry. Not finding
what you’re looking for? Please visit the wish list page and
we’ll find it for you.
Question: Do you take trade ins?
Answer: Yes, we are always looking for pre-owned
products. We are known for fair trade-in prices and accurate
appraisals. Contact us

Question: What is a screen room?
Answer: This is a room constructed on a deck, screened
in to give you more room at your park site. We sell them and we
can visit you to provide an estimate.
Question: What is an "add a room"?
Answer: This is a room addition constructed from
insulated panels. They have windows, usually with storms. These
units are for 3-season use and are usually 12 feet and up. We
sell these rooms and will be glad to give you a quote. Please
